You forgot how you got there, but you're there, and that's all that matters.
In a girl's house, to be exact. The girl there is kind of pretty with her blond hair and all, but she says nothing. She hardly even moves.
She just stands there unaffected as you walk around her house, touchin' all of her stuff, reading her books...You just want to see if something bothers her.
Ah, a light switch. Perfect.
You walk over to the light switch and start clicking it on and off. On...off...on...off...You remember how angry your mom would get when you did this, and laugh a bit.
It's been a while since you first walked over there, and now you can't stop. On...off...You don't even think about pulling yourself away, even though you've been there longer than what would be considered "Normal".
And then it happens.
First, you hear a scream behind you. It's the girl, her face contorting and slowly turning monochrome. Her scream turns into something inhuman-sounding. You can only stand there and watch as the pretty blond girl slowly turned into a monster.
A horrible-looking, amorphous monochrome beast, smiling at you as if it were laughing. Shocked by this transformation, you attempt to turn the lights back on to reverse the whole thing, but it doesn't work.
You try frantically to make the monster go away. You grab a few books from the bookshelf and throw them at it. It has no reaction.
I have no other choice, you think, pulling your trusty knife out of your pocket. This thing's helped you so many times...nothing like this, but bad situations nonetheless.
You hesitatingly walk towards the monster, brandishing your knife. You're less than an inch away, and its face changes. Now it doesn't even look like a face, just a bunch of black flecks in a large, white space.
And then you see a bright light.
The monster is still there, its face torn up, but now you're not in a recognizable place. The sky is pitch-black, you're knee-deep in some unidentified liquid, and there are things resembling volcanoes far off in the distance.
On those volcanoes stand large creatures that look like they're simultaneously crying and vomiting blood. You walk for what seems like miles, never going anywhere, in an endless loop.
And then you wake up.
You're lying there in your bed, drenched in cold sweat. Sleep paralysys still has a hold on your body. You can't even scream.
That creature haunts your life now. You swear you can see it in the closet, or under the stairs. Sitting. Waiting to take you to that horrible place again.
